About ATRA MORS:
ATRA MORS - born in Italy in early 2015 - is one of Noctu's musical projects (Noctu, Ghostlord, Vexev, Vampyriia, Wuuthrad, Nameless Void). The goal was to create a cold and misanthropic version of Black Metal.
2016 was a very prolific year for ATRA MORS with a demo "Atra Mors", two EP "I Doni del Suicidio", "End Time of Clergy's Power", two full-length "Cold, Solitude and Misanthropy", "Nekrogoat Ritual", plus a compilation "Mors Imperatrix".
In 2018 ATRA MORS was taken to the next step. During that period Noctu felt the desire to share his project, to expand his creativity to wider musical landscapes. As a result Michael Ford - veteran blackster at Black Funeral – joined him in as vocalist for the album "Dominate upon the Throne of Might".
In 2020 his friend RM (Urna, Arcana Coelestia, Locus Mortis, Aphonic Threnody, etc.) got involved in the project as well for the main vocal parts and, in addition, Noctu's way of writing music saw a revival. Thus, by avoiding following a specific direction, but driven by the desire to insert several of his musical influences, a bastard child born of utter misanthropy and disillusionment saw the light with the album "Morbid Killers - And Other Deaths in Music -"
ATRA MORS's "Morbid Killers - And Other Deaths in Music -" is a eleven tracks album : Six tracks that incorporate Black Metal, Rock, Punk, two tracks Jazz / Folk style with electronic music elements that increase the atmospheric aspect of the album, two tracks for intro / outro and the final track is a cover of a Carpathian Forest's song.
As mentioned in the title of the first track, this album is a one-way ticket to "Fire, Hell and Hate". You are warned
