About GREIN:
From Mão da Glória's Youtube channel:
"The debut from Grein unfolds as a long nocturne walk under the moonlight, a nearly forty‑two‑minute descent that refuses haste and rejects catharsis. This is depressive black metal in its most monolithic form, a slow funereal pacing, where guitars are stretched into elongated laments, and a rhythmic pace that feels as dragging of weights across frozen ground.

Grein allows space to breathe, and in that space the despair thickens as vocals emerge just occasionally as a fractured human element within this vast and bleak architecture.

Across its four extended compositions, the album maintains a remarkable coherence. Each piece flows into the next as chapters of the same inner monologue, reinforcing the sensation of being trapped within a single, unbroken emotional state. The pacing is unyielding, yet hypnotic, and by the time the closing moments fade, the listener is left suspended between numbness.

Grein stands comfortably alongside genre touchstones such as Blutklinge, Austere or Trist, not as imitators, but as kindred spirits speaking the same desolate language but with its own accent."
