"Our sound draws inspiration from a diverse palette of influences; blending atmospheric textures, emotive lyricism, and dynamic instrumental interplay, yet we strive to give each track a distinct identity that reflects our own musical voice. But of course we do have some external influences too: Ulver, Agalloch, Empyrium, Current 93, Wolves in the Throne Room, Dark Tranquility, Opeth, The Third and the Mortal, Woods of Ypres, Falls of Rauros...
"The Oaks Remember..." is, for us, both a personal statement and an invitation for listeners to step into our world.
Whether through its mood, its storytelling, or its sonic landscapes, we aim to create an experience that lingers with the listener long after the final note.
Since "The Oaks Remember..." was written as a single, evolving journey, with each track flowing into the next and telling a story of its own, we’d be grateful if you could give it a full listen when you have the chance. We feel the atmosphere and narrative truly come together only when the album is experienced in its entirety."
